7 Reasons I LOVE Bethesda, MD!

Bethesda is one of the most affluent and highly educated communities in the United States. Thinking about moving to Bethesda, MD? Or do you already LIVE HERE or nearby? These are my BEST 7 reasons why I love Bethesda and my favorite things TO DO in Bethesda! In the video, I reveal the best kept SECRET about living in Bethesda Maryland!

1- Downtown Bethesda

Bethesda, one of the most renowned communities in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, is a destination for ethnic restaurants, boutiques, home décor shops and artistic and trendy hot spots. Downtown Bethesda is home to numerous fashion boutiques, home design shops, art galleries, salons and community services.  With nearly 700 retailers and businesses present in the downtown, Bethesda is a destination for any shopping need.

2- Capital Crescent Trail

The Capital Crescent Trail is complete for seven miles from Georgetown to Bethesda. This section features a 10-foot wide asphalt path and wherever possible an adjacent 2-foot wide stone-dust trail for joggers. Most of the Trail passes through parks and other wooded areas; it passes over four bridges, through two tunnels, and provides beautiful vistas over the Potomac. Need a bike? No problem! Try the capital bikeshare!

Capital Bikeshare

Pick up a bike at one of hundreds of stations around the metro DC area. See bike availability on the System Map or mobile app. Take as many short rides as you want while your pass is active. Passes and memberships include unlimited classic bike trips under 30 minutes. End a ride by returning your bike to any station. Push your bike firmly into an empty dock and wait for the green light to make sure it’s locked. $2 For a quick, classic bike trip under 30 minutes. $8 for a 24 hour pass. $7/month for an annual membership.

Live Close to Metro! (part 3) in North Bethesda and Bethesda Maryland

Today is the 3rd of a series I will be shooting with neighborhoods within a mile of a Metro station. Today we look at Grosvenor/Strathmore metro station and Medical Center / NIH Metro Station. I use 1 mile as a measure since 9 out of 12 months this will be very workable to get to without a car. In the 3 colder months, it will still be a very short ride.
The series starts on the red line with Shady Grove and heads into DC. Each video will showcase several neighborhoods but if you have any questions about any other neighborhood, please comment below and I’ll put it on the list!
